The National Ski Patrol requires that all active members be certified in professional rescuer-level CPR, and also demonstrate those skills annually.

At Brighton the patrol has standardized on the American Red Cross program
CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO).

If you presently have CPR certification from another recognized organization and depending on its level, our CPR instructors may be able to certify you with a bridge course.

Currently approved CPR providers are American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, EMS Safety Services, Inc.,,Emergency Care and Safety Institute, National Safety Council, and Medic First Aid.
